Scalable Modular Design

Start small, expand when you’re ready

Choose from 5kWh or 8kWh battery modules and stack up to six per column, reaching up to 48kWh per stack. Need more? Up to six stacks can run in parallel. Modules can be mixed and matched — including adding new modules to an existing stack — so the system grows with your energy needs without starting from scratch.

Built-In Whole-Home Backup

No gateway box required

Backup switching is built in, so when the grid goes down the ESA transitions in under 4 milliseconds — no flicker, no resets. With 63A pass-through, it can back up your entire home without additional hardware. Available backup power is determined by your inverter size — a 10kW model gives you up to 10kW during an outage.

High-Performance DC-Coupled Architecture

Make the most of a large solar system

As a DC-coupled hybrid inverter, the ESA can simultaneously power your home, export to the grid, and charge the battery at full speed on a strong solar day. It supports 200% PV oversizing and up to four MPPTs on the larger models, making it well suited to homes with bigger rooftop arrays across multiple roof orientations.

Advanced Safety — 6-Layer Protection System

Safety built into every layer of the system

The ESA uses LFP battery chemistry — the safest mainstream option for residential storage — backed by six layers of protection including cell-level monitoring, AFCI 3.0, and integrated fire suppression. Select models include heating pads for reliable operation down to -20°C. If one module develops a fault, the rest of the stack keeps running.

Smart Monitoring & VPP Ready

Control and visibility from your phone

The ESA connects to GoodWe’s SEMS platform for real-time monitoring, time-of-use scheduling, and remote firmware updates. It’s compatible with Origin Loop and suited to VPP participation — . Amber Electric integration is also in development.
