For most homeowners, waiting rarely pays off. The sooner your system is generating, the sooner it starts cutting your bills.

There’s one real exception. If you’re planning to replace your roof in the next year or two, do the roof first. That way the racking goes onto sound material and doesn’t have to come off and go back on again later.
